March 26, 2015, Zaragoza (Spain) – Zentyal, the leader in open source Microsoft Protocol Interoperability, today announced the program agenda for Protocols Plugfest Europe 2015, taking place in Zaragoza, Spain, May 12-14, 2015. This conference will bring together experts from leading technology companies and open source projects so that they can share visions, experiences and technical knowledge to help advance the industry in its quest for interoperability.

Protocols Plugfest Europe 2015 reinforces the collaboration on interoperability and protocols between open source and non-open source companies and projects. The agenda includes technical and business insights from Microsoft, Red Hat, CENATIC, SerNet, Dell, Collabora, KDE, FSFE, RavenDB, Kolab Systems, LibreOffice, Igalia, BlueMind, Bitergia, Samba, OpenChange, Libelium, Griffin Brown Publishing, id law partners and Hibernating Rhinos.

Protocols Plugfest Europe 2015 keynotes include Héctor Sánchez Montenegro, National Technology Officer at Microsoft, sharing stage with Manuel Velardo, CEO at CENATIC, and Julien Kerihuel, CTO at Zentyal and Lead Architect of the OpenChange project. As a collateral activity, the conference includes a ‘Bring Your Own DeviceInteroperability Lab opened all day to test real implementations. Social and networking activities complement the discussions on technical content:

  • Icebreaker Event, the night before the event Monday 11, all attendees are invited to enjoy a meeting reception with drinks and music, an excellent opportunity to get a brief introduction of the three days coming and meet other attendees.
  • Welcome Cocktail, after the final sessions on Tuesday 12, offers dinner and drinks at Etopia Center as an open night to continue networking with other attendees.
  • Zentyal Tapas Tour, the second night event takes place at El Tubo, an emblematic district to experience the Tapas Spanish tradition, on a tour where attendees will feel the Tapas culture visiting several bars where enjoy miniature cuisine and drinks included.
