Zentyal names Beata González-Blanco Vice President of Global Sales

Zentyal, developer of easy IT solutions for small business, today announced the appointment of Beata González-Blanco to Vice President of Global Sales. The joining of Beata González-Blanco to Zentyal is further step towards the company’s firm commitment to increase its presence in the European and Latin American markets. In her new position, the executive will drive the international expansion strategy in which the Spanish company is immersed.

With extensive experience in the IT sector, Beata González-Blanco brings to Zentyal over 20 years of experience in business management and international business development. Passionate about the challenges and new opportunities as well as charitable initiatives, Beata González-Blanco has been advising both nonprofit entities as start-ups, helping them in their international expansion.

Prior to joining Zentyal, Beata González-Blanco was the Director of Business Development of Global Alliances at Flexiant, a Provider of Cloud Orchestration Software for on-demand, fully automated provisioning of cloud services.

She started her career at Oracle, and later joined Sybase (now SAP), where she served as the Director of International Distribution. Since then, Beata González-Blanco has held variety of executive sales management positions at big corporates as well as SMB’s and start-ups.

In 2002 she was appointed the Managing Director EMEA of Wily Technology Inc. and she was in charge of launching the European headquarters in London. Following Wily Technology’s expansion, the company was sold to Computer Associates in 2006. In 2007, Beata joined FRSGlobal as a Sales Director and a member of the Senior Management Team embarking on a challenging path of delivering Regulatory Reporting Solutions to financial institutions based in the City of London. Wolters Kluwer Financial Services acquired FRSGlobal in 2010.

Beata González-Blanco holds Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science and Psychology from Brunel University in London, and Management Accolades from International Management Institute in Brussels. She is the Vice President of European Professional Women’s Network, Barcelona chapter, and a member of Asociación Española de Directivos. Beata speaks English, Spanish, Polish and Russian.
