New bug tracker and documentation wiki launched!

Zentyal Team is glad to announce that a new bug tracker and documentation wiki are now available! The migration from the previous bug tracker and wiki (trac.zentyal.org) was successfully finished during the weekend and Community Users can now start using both platforms with their usual Zentyal Forum credentials.

The goals and reasons of these upgrades were manifold. On one hand, the change from the previous bug tracker was motivated by reasons such as to offer a more easy-to-use and efficient way of reporting, documenting, classifying, processing and following up bugs. On the other hand, the new documentation wiki – based on the same platform Wikipedia uses – will also allow Community Users to contribute and translate documentation in an easy and familiar way.

During the migration, content clean up took place as well: Only fully documented bugs and up-to-date/relevant documentation were migrated to the new platforms. Community users are encouraged to add any missing bugs or documentation, or if in doubt, report through the Zentyal Forum if they believe any relevant content is missing so that it can be reviewed and included, if relevant.

Enjoy the new bug tracker and documentation wiki!
