This course covers the functionality of Zentyal as a domain & directory server with native compatibility with MS Active Directory, making possible centralized management of users, groups and computers and file sharing in Windows® environments. After an introduction to Samba, Kerberos and MS AD technologies, you will find out how to configure Zentyal as a standalone server, how to join it to an existing domain and how to perform a total migration of a Windows Server to Zentyal.
Goals
- Provide the basic theoretical knowledge of Samba, Kerberos and Microsoft AD technologies
- Provide practical knowledge on how to manage users, groups, computers and file sharing through the graphical user interface of Zentyal
- Allow to deploy Zentyal as a standalone server or additional domain controller. Allow to carry out a a total migration of a Windows Server to Zentyal

Prerequisites
Experience: To be able to install and configure Zentyal using Virtualization technology. Basic knowledge in computer networks.
