eBox Technologies’ CEO, Ignacio Correas, will deliver a presentation on “Challenges and priorities in the management of SMBs’ network security” at the 3rd National Meeting of the Security Industry in Spain (ENISE). The meeting will be held in León from 27th to 29th of October and it is centered on the technology innovation in ICT security.
Correas’ presentation will take place on the 28th of October within the “Secure services outsourcing” workshop and it will center on the ICT use and trends in small and medium businesses and the main challenges and priorities they face in the management of network security. Furthermore, the presentation suggests criteria that network security solutions should follow in order to meet the needs of small and medium businesses (SMBs).
“Currently SMBs make up more than 99% of the global firms. These businesses are ever more dependent on ICT, but simultaneously they are unable to find technology and solutions that respond to their specific needs or adapt to the available resources” said Correas. “As a developer of the open source small business server, eBox Platform, we know that it is both necessary and possible to develop solutions that guarantee the security of SMBs’ systems and networks.”
