Zentyal, developer of the Linux small business server of the same name, announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Linux Warehouse, a South Africa-based IT distributor that delivers enterprise open source solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa. The company is a ‘pure’ distributor that has a vast reseller network in the region and extensive knowledge in enabling their resellers to grow their business.
“Linux Warehouse signed the distribution agreement with Zentyal because there is a need for Small Business Server solutions in Africa, and Zentyal provides the leading solution. The Canonical backing Zentyal enjoys is further evidence of the quality of their product”, said Jan-Jan van der Vyver, CEO of Linux Warehouse. “Our end customers benefit, because Linux Warehouse does not simply bring Zentyal to them, but creates a healthy ecosystem in the African market so that they can choose the best local reseller to help them choose and install their Zentyal system”.
“We are happy that Linux Warehouse, a leading open source distributor in Sub-Saharan Africa, has confirmed their interest in becoming a Zentyal distributor in the region”, said Javi Vázquez, COO of Zentyal. “Understanding local market, language, currency and culture are fundamental drivers of success. We rely on Linux Warehouse to substantially develop the Zentyal partner network in the region.”
