Zentyal Team is glad to announce that Mateo Burillo, Zentyal Training Manager, will deliver a 6-hour tutorial entitled “Deploying a native replacement for Microsoft® Exchange Server and Microsoft Active Directory® in your business with Zentyal” during the SambaXP 2014, the international Samba conference for users and developers taking place in Göttingen, Germany, from May 13 to 16. The tutorial will take place on May 13 and it will be held in English.
During the tutorial attendees will learn how they can use Zentyal Server as a native replacement for Microsoft® Exchange Server and Microsoft Active Directory® in the most common business scenarios. First part of the training is focused on standalone deployment, providing an overview of the latest Zentyal Mail features – based on OpenChange – and describing the limitations. The second part will focus on integrating and deploying Zentyal Server as an additional domain controller and Microsoft® Exchange Server replacement and finally, the last part of the tutorial will cover full migration from an existing Microsoft® infrastructure.
Zentyal Server integrates Samba 4.0 since it’s 3.0 version, with the goal of providing a full drop-in replacement for the Microsoft Active Directory® and making the migrations from Windows Server® environments to Linux servers transparent and easy. Julien Kerihuel, CTO of Zentyal, and many Zentyal Development Team members will also attend Samba eXPerience, that provides an unique opportunity to meet the Samba Team Members, learn from other projects integrating Samba and continue building links between the different development teams.
If you are interested in attending the event and the Zentyal Tutorial, you can register here. See you at the SambaXP!
